A little bit about me

Born a Derry man, raised in Donegal and been based in Dublin for over 20 years now.

I love the sea, be on my paddle board, surfing or love long walks by it. I’m also a proud and active member of the Irish Coast Guard as a search & rescue Volunteer.

For years, I traded in the family business as a roofer. Photography always having been a passion it was also a constant distraction. I made the move to full time professional photography when I climbed down from my last rooftop, camera in tow and I founded Aaron Daly photography - I’ve never looked back only up !

I’ve found my niche in wedding photography and I love it. I’ve picked up a few awards and accolades along the way including multiple ‘Irish Professional Photographers & videographers Awards’, ‘Masters of Photography Award’, ‘Nine Dots Wedding award’, Multiple ‘Wedisson Awards’ and a coveted This is Reportage Family award.

I also hold a licentiate qualification from the Irish Professional Photographer Association (IPPVA).

A proud volunteer photographer with Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep Ireland (NILMDS).

I love photographing real people and capturing real moments.
